Each and every one of our swimsuits are crafted from Econyl®, a regenerated nylon made from ocean waste. Wear it, enjoy it, then pass it on. Kōraru is built to last. Our packing also utilises upcycled materials and has been carefully designed to be fully recyclable and repurposed.
The Kōraru carrier is made from Paptic Tringa®, an innovative plastic-free cellulose produced with wood fibres from sustainably-managed forests. Durable and flexible, not only does it act as a protective wrap around our swimsuits, its form is inspired by the Japanese art of origami, making it a thing of beauty in itself. Once unboxed it can be reused in myriad ways, from organisation to storage. The possibilities are endless, but here are just a few suggestions:
