With that in mind, we looked to the stars (and the internet) to find all of the best celebrity-inspired swimwear looks from the past few years. Keep scrolling to discover our top picks that we hope will inspire your summer beachwear lineup for 2023...

NICOLE RICHIE’S CLASSIC BLACK TRIANGLE TOP AND BLACK BIKINI BOTTOMS

Ever the style icon, Nicole Richie showed us all how classic triangle swimsuits never go out of style. Spotted on the beach this summer wearing this beautiful two piece swimsuit, the chic black colorway of the triangle top matches perfectly with her mid-rise black swim bottoms. What’s more, whilst this set is ideal for sea swimming, sunbathing, and relaxing by the pool, the top half will also work perfectly with wide-leg pants and skirts, or under dresses and swimsuit cover-ups in other settings. Want to create the look yourself? Try the Hedy classic triangle top and matching Hedy mid rise bottoms both in the color Nero. As Nicole so perfectly demonstrates, a timeless swimsuit like this one will be your go-to bikini to see you stylishly through this, and many more summers to come.

GABRIELLE UNION’S TRENDY WHITE CUT-OUT BIKINI

You can always count on Gabrielle Union to have you swooning over her outfit. As it turns out, her beach wear is no different! This summer, she rocked a stunning white bikini with playful cut-outs, an asymmetric neckline, and high-cut bikini bottoms - and the results were undeniably beautiful. The moment we laid eyes on this set we knew it was worth replicating and set about finding our own version of the look. For the asymmetric neckline style top, we’re reaching for the Annie one-shoulder bandeau swim top. It comes in multiple prints and colorways including Mosaico which is closest to Gabrielle’s neutral two-piece. Also, this top will match perfectly with the Hedy mid rise bottoms in the same shade to complete the look.

ALESSANDRA AMBROSIO’S NEON FADE TWO PIECE

Making the most of the sunshine, Victoria’s Secret angel, Alessandra Ambrosio showed us exactly how to rock the neon bikini trend in the most modern way. Beloved in the 80s, this eye-catching trend has made a fierce comeback with neon colorways popping up on every beach and by every poolside around the world the past few years. So, if you fancy opting for this retro-inspired trend for your next vacation or trip to the beach, do as Alessandra does. Choose a chic string-style bikini with mid rise bottoms and contrast the look with a pastel-hued sun hat for a playful twist. Not only will you feel instantly stylish, but you’ll also be staying sun safe too!

JOY CORRIGAN’S PRINTED PINK STRING BIKINI

Fully embracing the Barbiecore trend, actress and model, Joy Corrigan stepped onto the sand in the prettiest pink bikini of the summer so far. Demanding attention with its vibrant shade of fuchsia pink and a 70s-inspired floral print, this bikini is embracing multiple 2023 fashion trends. Meanwhile, it’s made for lovers of cheeky swimsuits as this adorable two piece boasts a halterneck triangle top and tie side bikini bottoms, perfect for soaring temperatures. Create your own Barbie/Joy-inspired bikini moment this summer with the Marie long triangle top and matching side tie bottoms in the shade powder pink.

DUA LIPA’S CROCHET BIKINI AND SWIMSUIT COVERUP

Love it or hate it, the crochet trend is well and truly back, and yes, that involves swimwear too! From colorful crocheted sun hats and accessories to bikinis and cover-ups, this cute knitted style is everywhere right now and, to our surprise, we’re not that mad about it. Showing us how it’s done, Dua Lipa wore the cutest orange and yellow set for a beach trip last summer and we’ve been head over heels ever since. She paired her checked halter top perfectly with a barely-there crochet wrap skirt and gold jewelry to elevate the colorways. We’re taking note and looking out for crochet pieces, as well as those in complimentry yellow and orange hues for the months ahead.

KIMBERLEY GARNER’S TIMELESS RED ONE PIECE SWIMSUIT

As a successful swimwear designer, it’s no wonder Kimberley Garner looks so flawless every time she hits the beach. And whilst we’ve long admired her stylish two piece bathing suits, this romantic red one has truly stolen our hearts. Classic, comfortable, and eternally flattering, this high cut one piece swimsuit is as stylish now as it was ten years ago and, likely, as it will be in ten years to come! We’re making this dreamy suit style our reality with the Zabel tube one-piece in burgundy this summer. Style it alone for dips in the ocean, fun in the pool, and relaxing in the sunshine. Or, pair it with your go-to jeans or wide-leg trousers for an effortless beach-to-bar look on vacation.

CHANEL IMAN’S PLAYFUL, PRINTED ONE PIECE SWIMSUIT

Leave it to supermodel Chanel Iman to have us coveting everything she wears to the beach! Making the ocean her runway this summer, she sported a stunning pink one piece swimsuit with cut-out detailing and a psychedelic floral print. Everything about this suit demands attention from the colorway to the cut and we’ll certainly be replicating the look for summer 2023. If prints aren’t your thing, try a cutout suit in a classic all-black or white style instead. Alternatively, if you prefer a full-coverage look, opt for a high-waisted bikini and supportive top in a playful print. It’s all about taking inspiration from your favorite looks and making the style your own!
